Tsinghua HKS Teacher Award


The "Tsinghua HKS Teacher Award" was established in August 2009 to promote and recognize excellence in teaching quality which in turn would enhance the learning proficiency of migrant students. 50 finalists were elected out of 250 winners from 5 major cities in China to attend the Congress of Tsinghua HKS Teacher Award held in Beijing.


In December 2010, 100 winners from 15 major cities in China attended the Congress of the 2nd Tsinghua HKS Teacher Award held in Beijing and subsequent on-line training courses.


Migrant Students School Project


In 2008, Tsinghua HKS Education Fund donated teaching equipments to Beijing Xing Hua School, Hua Ao School and Xing Zhi School, in tandem with supporting the Red Cross student volunteers of Tsinghua University to assist teaching work in these schools.



Sponsorship for Education Initiative of the Educational Poverty Alleviation Office of Tsinghua University

Since 2007, HKSEF regularly sponsors the education initiatives for the poverty in China organized by the Educational Poverty Alleviation Office of Tsinghua University. Carried out face to face courses and distance-learning courses over 2792 hours, about 5000 principals and teachers received training in the Tsinghua University, hundred of thousands people in remote area are benefited from the distance-learning programs.
